Who are the minstrels?

The Minstrels are a group dedicated members of Gosford Musical Society, who love to perform and entertain on a regular basis.

What do they do?

The Minstrels emphasis is entertainment and fun. They put on shows involving singing and easy movement. The shows are completed by costuming and a great choice of songs. Each show includes popular songs, comedy and well known musical numbers of course!

The Musical Director and Choreographer work with and highlight the talents of the group so everyone feels welcome and part of the show.

It doesn't matter how experienced you are as there are solo routines, duets, trios and ensemble work. Everyone is included.

The Minstrels showplace is mainly in-house entertainment for retirement and aged care facilities on the Central Coast, Senior organisations and special functions.

When do they meet?

Rehearsal is each Thursday in the GMS Mirror Room starting at 7.30pm. There is a refreshment break halfway through the evening which finishes at around 10pm.

The Directors give every assistance to help newcomers into the group.

Intending members who would like to observe our rehearsal are very welcome.
